Improper privilege management in Check Point Gaia Portal allows remote authenticated users with read-only access to execute commands as root. Check Point has not disclosed the vulnerable function, endpoint, parameter, or incorrect privilege check that enables command execution. Access to the Gaia management interface and a read-only Gaia Portal account are required, after which arbitrary commands run with root privileges.
