Authenticated job-post deletion via missing ownership check

Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026

Broken access control in CodeAstro Online Job Portal 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to delete other employers' job postings. The /jobs/job-delete.php handler accepts the GET id parameter and deletes the referenced posting without verifying that the signed-in employer owns it. Any employer account can change the numeric identifier in a deletion request, causing permanent loss of another employer's posting and related service disruption.
