Code execution via unchecked sprintf of page parameter
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda F456 Firmware 1.0.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted QoS request. The fromqossetting handler passes the unbounded page parameter to sprintf, overflowing stack buffer s in the embedded httpd process. Low-privileged web-interface access and no user interaction are required; exploitation can crash the router or execute code with httpd privileges.
