CVE-2026-61986Network attack vector

Script execution via undisclosed XSS

Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

Cross-site scripting in the Wasiliy Strecker Contest Gallery plugin before 30.0.6 allows remote attackers to run script via unspecified vectors. Public records identify the flaw only at the plugin level; Patchstack and the WordPress changelog do not disclose the affected parameter, rendering path, or escaping failure that places untrusted input into page output. No authentication is required, but exploitation still requires a user to load attacker-controlled content or visit a crafted page, limiting the direct consequence to script execution in that user's browser context.
