Authenticated RCE via unchecked sprintf page copy
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda F456 firmware 1.0.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via the page parameter. The fromNatStaticSetting handler passes the user-controlled page value through sprintf without a length check into the fixed-size stack buffer s. Low-privilege web-management access is sufficient to crash the router's httpd process or execute code in its context.
