Unauthenticated script execution via pagination shortcodes
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Reflected XSS in David Lingren Media Library Assistant 3.38 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via pagination shortcodes. The upstream changelog identifies pagination shortcodes as the affected locus, but public sources do not disclose the request value or output operation that fails to neutralize it. Exploitation requires a user to open attacker-crafted content, allowing script to run in that user’s browser with the page’s origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
