CVE-2026-61893Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated heap over-read via inflated object count

Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in MZ Automation lib60870 2.4.0 allows remote attackers to over-read heap memory via a crafted IEC 60870-5-104 information frame. TestCommand_getFromBuffer omits the information-object address length from its minimum-size check, so an inflated VSQ object count advances parsing one byte past the allocated message. A network connection to a CS104 server on TCP port 2404 is sufficient; no authentication or operator action is required, and the supplied proof of concept produces a sanitizer-detected crash.
