Authenticated privilege escalation via modifiable tokens
Published Jul 24, 2026 · Updated Jul 24, 2026
Privilege escalation in cMT3092X firmware before 20210218 and EasyWeb before 2.1.20 allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator access. A non-privileged account can modify authorization tokens used for access decisions; Weintek has not disclosed the affected token field or handler. A network-reachable low-privilege account is required, and successful exploitation grants elevated HMI privileges without user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
