Memory leak in the TIFF encoder in ImageMagick before 7.1.2-26 allows local users to exhaust memory during TIFF encoding. The encoder fails to release a small allocation when a subsequent allocation attempt fails, so repeated failures retain unusable memory. Exploitation requires locally invoking TIFF encoding and forcing allocation failures; the bounded consequence is gradual memory exhaustion and service interruption.
