Memory leak in the TIFF encoder in ImageMagick 7.x before 7.1.2-26 and 6.x before 6.9.13-51 allows local users to consume memory. When temporary-file creation fails during TIFF encoding, the error path does not release a small allocation; the vendor has not identified the allocation or cleanup branch. Exploitation requires local execution and high-complexity conditions that prevent temporary-file creation, and each trigger has only a low availability impact.
