Authenticated secret disclosure via Twig sandbox bypass
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Information disclosure in Grav before 2.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to read plugin configuration secrets via sandboxed Twig content. The Twig sandbox allows grav.offsetGet('config') to return the live Config object, and allow-listed json_encode, print_r, yaml_encode, and string filters serialize that object without invoking GravSecurityPolicy::checkMethodAllowed. Page-author permissions or equivalent write access to user/pages are required; the resulting exposure is read-only but can reveal SMTP credentials, API keys, and plugin database credentials on default modular-page paths.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
