CVE-2026-61818Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Caller-privilege SQL execution via raw time encoder

Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026

SQL injection in pgpartman pg_partman before 5.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL with a later caller's privileges. The undo_partition() function inserts part_config.time_encoder into an EXECUTE format SELECT with %s rather than identifier quoting, treating stored text as SQL. Exploitation requires partman_user access to store a crafted encoder and a more privileged caller to invoke undo_partition(), exposing data disclosure, modification, or service interruption within that caller's permissions.
