Tenant Ingress denial via stale regex validation
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Denial of service in Capsule 0.13.0 through 0.13.6 allows remote authenticated users to block a tenant's Ingress operations. hostnameRegexHandler.OnUpdate reverses its new and old Tenant parameters, validates the previous AllowedHostnames.Regex, and persists a malformed replacement. Cluster-administrator access is required; later Ingress requests treat the invalid pattern as unmatched until the Tenant is repaired.
