Stored XSS via unescaped icon_box_2 attributes
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026
Stored XSS in Muffin Group BeTheme 28.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through icon_box_2 attributes. The icon_box_2 shortcode insufficiently sanitizes user-supplied attributes and emits them into page output without adequate escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which executes in a visitor's browser whenever the injected page is opened.
