Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped review comments
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Stored XSS in CusRev Customer Reviews for WooCommerce 5.106.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts through review comments. The cr_local_forms_submit AJAX handler passes unsanitized comment text to wp_insert_comment(), and product pages later render it through comment_text() without proper output escaping. Access requires a valid aggregated-review form URL from a customer reminder email; the script executes when a user opens the affected product page.
