Service interruption via unrestricted ZIP extraction
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Denial of service in GetGrav Grav before 2.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to exhaust server storage via a crafted ZIP archive. ZipArchiver::extract() passes every entry to ZipArchive::extractTo() without first enforcing configured limits on expanded size, file count, or nesting depth. Reachability requires a plugin or custom code path that supplies attacker-controlled ZIP data through the Archiver factory; first-party Grav code does not call this path.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
