CVE-2026-6168Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via oversized ssid5g

Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A7000R 9.1.0u.6115 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to corrupt process memory via ssid5g. The setWiFiEasyGuestCfg handler in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi accepts an oversized ssid5g value without a sufficient length bound, overflowing its stack buffer. Low-privilege access to the network management endpoint is required; the published record does not establish code execution or a specific service failure.
