Credential exposure via query-string bearer tokens
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Credential exposure in SolidInvoice before 3.0.1 allows remote attackers to obtain persistent API access through leaked bearer tokens. ApiTokenAuthenticator reads the token query parameter as a fallback to X-API-TOKEN, placing long-lived credentials in URLs that logs, browser history, and Referer headers retain. Exploitation requires access to one of those records; the exposed token authenticates as its owner until revoked.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
