Information disclosure in Code Projects Simple ChatBox 1.0 allows remote attackers to download its SQL database backup without authentication. The application places chatbox/database/chatbox.sql beneath the web root, where the server returns the file directly without an access-control check. A single HTTP request exposes the database schema and stored data, including chat messages, usernames, and credentials, without affecting integrity or availability.
