CVE-2026-61588Network attack vector

Sensitive model-field disclosure via unrestricted serialization

Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 19, 2026

Sensitive data exposure in djust before 1.0.7 allows remote authenticated users to read model fields through LiveView updates. Assigning a Django Model instance to a public view attribute causes the serializer to send every field to the browser without a sensitive-field denylist. A valid application session and a reachable view exposing a model are required; disclosed data includes password hashes, tokens, privilege flags, and PII.
