Credential disclosure and cross-application access via unchecked endpoints
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Incorrect authorization in authentik before 2026.2.6 or 2026.5.0 through 2026.5.4 allows remote authenticated users to access RAC endpoints. The endpoint list omits endpoint access controls, while the connection flow fails to verify that the selected endpoint belongs to the launched application. Enterprise RAC deployments expose stored RDP, SSH, or VNC credentials and permit interactive access to systems outside the user's authorized applications.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
