Remote command execution via unsanitized Comment parameter
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A7100RU 7.4cu.2313_b20191024 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted Comment value. The setIpQosRules path in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi formats Comment into a command string, passes it through Uci_Set_Str and CsteSystem, and reaches execv without neutralizing shell syntax. The published request includes a session cookie, while the CVE record describes remote exploitation without authentication; successful exploitation runs commands with the CGI service's privileges.
