Unauthenticated command execution via unquoted PPPoE service name
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A7100RU 7.4cu.2313 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via pppoeServiceName. The setWanCfg path in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi passes the parameter through Uci_Set_Str into a string built by snprintf, which CsteSystem executes through execv. Although the published proof of concept includes a session cookie, the CNA assesses no prior privileges or user interaction; successful exploitation runs commands on the router.
