Command injection in Puwell IP Camera firmware 2.x through 4.x allows remote attackers to execute root-level commands over TCP port 34567. The undocumented DebugShell handler accepts unauthenticated binary-protocol messages containing JSON and passes the DebugShell field directly to the operating system without validation or neutralization. Network reachability to the service is sufficient; no valid session or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants complete control of the camera.
