Weak key generation in Amazon::Credentials 1.2.0 and earlier allows attackers to recover AWS credentials from serialized object dumps. Amazon::Credentials::create_passkey generates the 64-bit obfuscation key with Perl's predictable rand function rather than a cryptographic random source. Exploitation requires access to an object or memory dump containing the obfuscated secrets; the bounded consequence is recovery of stored AWS credentials.
