Unauthenticated deployment fingerprinting via exposed bootstrap config
Published Jul 11, 2026 · Updated Jul 11, 2026
Information disclosure in the Grav Admin2 plugin before 2.0.4 allows remote attackers to fingerprint deployments through the admin page. The PHP wrapper serializes exact Grav and Admin2 versions plus the runtime environment into window.GRAV_CONFIG without requiring authentication. Any network client that can reach the configured Admin2 route can read those fields without credentials and use them to select version-specific follow-on exploits.
