Code execution via unescaped agents_file interpolation
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Code injection in PraisonAI before 4.6.78 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary Python code through agents_file. The deploy/api.py generator inserts agents_file into quoted f-string positions without escaping, then launches the generated server file with subprocess.Popen(). Control of the CLI, configuration, or upstream API value is required, and injected code runs with the deploy process's privileges.
