Authenticated record tampering via underprivileged PATCH routes
Published Jul 11, 2026 · Updated Jul 11, 2026
Missing authorization in PraisonAI Platform before 0.1.9 allows remote authenticated users to alter owner-controlled workspace records. Project, issue, and agent PATCH routes require only workspace membership, and ProjectService accepts a member-supplied lead_id later trusted by the delete guard. Ordinary workspace membership permits record rewrites and agent-configuration changes; project lead reassignment also permits deletion of an owner-created project.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
