CVE-2026-61438Public exploit

Command execution via permissive AST import allowlist

Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026

OS command injection in PraisonAI before 4.6.78 allows context-dependent attackers to execute commands through crafted YAML workflows. JobWorkflowExecutor._exec_inline_python() accepts import and call nodes and allowlists os, so os.system() reaches the host shell. Exploitation requires an attacker-controlled workflow and a user or CI pipeline to run it with PRAISONAI_ALLOW_JOB_WORKFLOWS enabled; commands inherit the process's privileges.
