File disclosure via unchecked FastContext paths
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Path traversal in PraisonAI before 1.6.78 allows remote authenticated users to read files outside configured FastContext workspaces. FastContextAgent.execute_tool() prefixes only relative paths and fails to canonicalize or verify absolute and joined paths before dispatching read, search, glob, and directory-listing tools. Exploitation requires lower-trust prompt content or a caller to influence tool arguments, and disclosure is limited to process-readable files.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
