Cross-site scripting via unescaped lock-user output
Published Aug 21, 2026 · Updated Aug 21, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Apache CloudStack 4.20.0.0 through 4.20.3.0 and 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0 allows attackers to run script. The lock-user UI path fails to encode or escape output, but Apache has not identified the affected field or rendering operation. Exploitation requires remote authenticated users to hold high privileges and induce victim interaction; successful script runs in another UI context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=4.20.0.0 <=4.20.3.0
