Unauthenticated command execution via certificate filename interpolation
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
Command injection in TOTOLINK A7100RU 7.4cu.2313_b20191024 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands via certificate uploads. UploadOpenVpnCert in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi interpolates the untrusted FileName value into a command passed to CsteSystem without neutralizing command syntax. Exploitation requires network access to the CGI interface; the CNA reports no authentication requirement, although the published demonstration includes a session cookie.
