Administrator code execution via unvalidated template name
Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Path traversal in LibreBooking before 5.1.0 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute code via a template name. The UpdateEmailTemplate method passes GetUpdatedTemplateName output into the template destination path without applying the validation used by load actions, so traversal sequences can place attacker-controlled content under the web root. Application administrator access is required, and a successful request can create a server-executable PHP file outside the email-template directory.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
