Remote command execution via unneutralized enable parameter
Published Apr 12, 2026 · Updated Apr 12, 2026
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A7100RU 7.4cu.2313_b20191024 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through its CGI handler. The setLedCfg path in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi inserts the untrusted enable value into a command buffer with snprintf, then CsteSystem reaches execv without neutralizing shell syntax. The CNA score indicates no required privileges or user interaction, although the published request contains a SESSION_ID cookie; successful exploitation runs commands with the router service's privileges.
