Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized traceroute input
Published Apr 12, 2026 · Updated Apr 12, 2026
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A7100RU 7.4cu.2313_b20191024 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands through CGI requests. The setTracerouteCfg path passes the command parameter through snprintf into CsteSystem, which invokes execv without neutralizing command syntax. The CNA rates the path unauthenticated, while the published request includes a session cookie; successful exploitation executes commands on the router.
