Platform takeover by low-privileged local users
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Privilege escalation in Oracle Enterprise Manager Base Platform 13.5 and 24.1 allows local users to take over the platform via Agent Next Gen. Oracle has disclosed only that the flaw is in the Agent Next Gen component and has not published the vulnerable endpoint, file, or operation that mishandles untrusted input. Exploitation requires low-privileged logon to the host or infrastructure where the product runs, and Oracle rates the resulting compromise as full confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact on the platform.
