Unauthenticated critical data modification and disclosure
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle PeopleSoft Purchasing 9.2 allows remote attackers to modify critical data and read other data via HTTP. Oracle identifies the Purchasing component but has not disclosed the affected endpoint or the authorization operation that mishandles an unauthenticated request. No credentials or user interaction are required; successful exploitation permits creation, deletion, or modification of critical or all accessible data and reading of a subset.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
