Unauthenticated command execution via ttyEnable injection
Published Apr 12, 2026 · Updated Apr 12, 2026
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A7100RU 7.4cu.2313_b20191024 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands over HTTP. The setTtyServiceCfg handler in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi places the ttyEnable value into a command string with snprintf, passes it through CsteSystem, and reaches execv without neutralizing command syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful requests run attacker-selected commands on the router.
