SYSTEM code execution via unvalidated driver commands
Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026
Local privilege escalation in MSI Center 2.0.66.0 allows local users to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM through NTIOLib_X64.sys. The driver accepts commands without adequately validating their origin, allowing low-privileged code to reach privileged operations. Exploitation requires existing low-privileged code execution and grants full SYSTEM-context execution.
