Privilege escalation in Oracle WebCenter Sites 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to take over the application via HTTP. Oracle lists the affected component only as WebCenter Sites and has not published the vulnerable endpoint, request parameter, or server-side operation that incorrectly trusts low-privileged HTTP requests. Reachability requires valid low-privilege application credentials and network access to the HTTP interface; the published impact is full compromise of the WebCenter Sites instance.
