Unauthenticated takeover from an adjacent segment
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Oracle Identity Manager Connector 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0 allows attackers on its physical communication segment to take over the service. The flaw is in the Core component, but Oracle has not published the faulty operation or the input that reaches it. Exploitation requires no credentials or user interaction, but it requires adjacent-segment access and high complexity; success grants complete control of the connector.
