Unauthorized data access and modification
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle WebCenter Content 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify data via HTTP. Oracle identifies the affected component as Content Server but has not disclosed the endpoint or the authorization check that incorrectly honors a low-privileged HTTP session for higher-value data operations. Exploitation requires valid low-privilege access and user interaction by another person; successful attacks can expose or alter all data reachable through the instance, and Oracle scores the impact as scope-changing.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
