High-privilege data tampering and disclosure
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Access control flaw in Oracle WebCenter Content 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 lets remote authenticated users read and modify data over HTTP. Oracle has not published the Content Server code path or the specific authorization check that fails, and the public record adds only a CWE-284 Improper Access Control classification rather than a code-level mechanism. Exploitation requires high-privilege application access over the network and can yield unauthorized data creation, deletion, and modification, limited data reads, and partial service interruption, with Oracle noting scope change to additional products.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
