Unauthenticated takeover via RMI access

Improper access control in Oracle WebCenter Enterprise Capture 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 allows remote attackers to take over the service via RMI. Oracle’s public records identify the affected Client Bundle and exposed RMI reachability, but they do not disclose the specific class, function, or parser error behind the access-control failure. Exposure requires network reachability to the RMI interface with no authentication; successful exploitation gives full control of the instance and the data and availability it manages.
