Data exposure and modification via undisclosed access-control flaw
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Improper access control in Content Server in Oracle WebCenter Content 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 allows remote attackers to read and modify data via HTTP. Oracle has disclosed only that the flaw is in the Content Server component and has not published the request path, code locus, or failed access-control check behind it. Exploitation is network-reachable without credentials but requires human interaction, and the published impact is unauthorized reading of accessible data plus unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
