Stored script execution via unvalidated serial-number fields
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Stored XSS in StockAgile before 25/09/2026 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary JavaScript through serial-number fields. The /inventory/configuration/serial-number-types REST endpoint persists code, name, and other text fields without correctly filtering or validating them before the management panel renders the values. An attacker needs an account with a role allowed to create or edit serial numbers, and execution occurs when an authenticated user views the stored value.
