Oracle Unified Directory 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0 allow remote authenticated users to take over the server via LDAP. Oracle has disclosed only that the flaw is in the OUD Core component and has not published the vulnerable code path or the operation it performs incorrectly on attacker-controlled LDAP input. Exploitation requires valid low-privilege LDAP credentials and network reachability to the directory service; Oracle rates the attack as high complexity but states successful exploitation can result in full compromise, with possible scope change into connected products.
