Authenticated financial-data modification and partial disclosure
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle Financials Common Modules 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 allows remote authenticated users to alter data via HTTP. Oracle identifies Common Components but has not published the affected request handler or the access-control operation it performs incorrectly. Low-privileged access is required; exploitation reads a subset of accessible data and creates, deletes, or modifies critical or all accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
