Platform takeover via authentication bypass
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 21, 2026
Authentication bypass in PIA Core Technology in Oracle PeopleTools 8.61 through 8.63 allows remote attackers to take over the platform via HTTP. Oracle places the flaw in the PIA Core Technology component but has not published the endpoint or code path that improperly accepts unauthenticated HTTP requests. No credentials or user interaction are required, although Oracle rates exploitation as high complexity; successful exploitation yields control of the PeopleTools instance.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
