Improper access control in Oracle WebCenter Portal Composer 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 lets remote authenticated users take over the portal over HTTP. Oracle has not disclosed the specific Composer code path or the operation it performs incorrectly on attacker-controlled requests, and public sources name only the Composer HTTP surface. Exploitation requires low-privileged application access and no user interaction; successful attacks can fully compromise the portal and, because Oracle scored the flaw with scope change, may also affect connected products that trust it.
